What do we offer?

We are a family run business which operates in Hurst, Reading. We offer day-care which includes pick up and drop off.

What are your prices?

We offer very competitive prices which also include packages, please see Our Price list.

How do we get our pup into day-care?

Day care requires we check your within our catchment area, please provide a postcode when contacting us.

If you fall within our catchment area and meet our other requirements we then move onto a 'Taster day', which is a full day with us at a reduced price.

Once the taster day is complete, both parties are happy, we then schedule in days for day-care.

Do you provide ad-hoc day-care?

Right now we have very limited space, we do provide ad-hoc but always mention our set-day pups have priority over ad-hoc. It's a tough decision as we want all pups to attend but for safety reasons and the regulations set out by DEFRA, we can't go over our limits.

How do we know our pup is suitable for day-care?

We did a short assessment during a home visit but Covid has put this on-hold.

Now, during the taster day we take extra steps and complete this short assessment.

Unfortunately not all pups can handle being with others, this is why an assessment and taster day is so important to us and your pup.

Does our pup need to be Neutered/Spayed?

Due to the regulations set out by DEFRA, we made the decision to require all pups to be Neutered/Spayed by the age of 12 months, no exceptions.

Does our pup need to be vaccinated and insured?

ALL pups must be vaccinated and up-to-date including kennel cough.

Insurance is a must, no exceptions.

Will my pup have any 'downtime' to rest?

All dogs that attend our day care will be given downtime.

The time and frequency depends on a few factors such as:

 Age, activity levels, specific client requirements and more. 

Puppies require more rest. 

Medical conditions that may require frequent rests.

Healthy adult dogs are given 1-2 rests.

What does our pup need to bring for day-care?

• They MUST wear a dog tag.
• Must be wearing a break-way collar
• Lunch if they require.
• A Coat (Not just for keeping warm)

We supply treats, blankets and beds.

Do you pick up and drop off?

We pick-up and drop off which is included in our prices free of charge!

NOTE: We don't have the facilities for clients to drop/pick their dogs up

What are your pick-up and drop off times?

Pick-up is from 7:30am to 9:30am, Drop is 3:30pm to 5:30pm.

Can I have my pup picked up/dropped off at a specific time?

We take the welfare of the pups seriously. We follow the regulations set out by DEFRA and won't allow the pups to be in transit for long periods of time. Our route is also carefully set out so we don't back-track.
